The last storm of July

Hot on the heals of the biggest storm in ten years to hit the North Island. Another storm, and probably the last one for July, is set to hit us over the next couple of days. This caps off a very unusual July where every week has seen a storm of at least once in a year proportions. It will be interesting to see the climate stats for July when Metservice releases them. I am sure there will be a few records broken. I have certainly broken a few records in July sailing wise like:
  • The most numbers of days in any month where it has just been too windy to sail
  • The most numbers of days that I have ever sailed in July (Typically the coldest, most settled month)

I must have broken some kind of record by even going out in Winter.

I'm positive you wouldn't have gone out if you didn't have a session logger lead to defend

Where do you keep session logs? Keen to have a peek for a good cry... ;)

That's a pretty cool little geovisite widget there... Had to blast that for my blog too.

I am kinda waiting for iWindsurf or Windguru to create a little weather one soon too. Do you ever use iWindsurf.com over there? Their global coverage is a pretty new (and beta) feature, but I am pretty sure Welly is in there now.

http://www.deepfried.tv/slogger/ Pretty cool site Chris put together. Troy and I have been racing since it was put up. I only lost the lead because I got pneumonia!
